If you’re planning a North Norfolk break, chances are you’ll be delighted to see “Dogs Welcome at the Ship Hotel Brancaster”.
The Ship provides the perfect base for taking your four legged friends for long walks along the outstanding North Norfolk coast – many miles of unspoilt sand and shallow water are the ideal playground for dogs (and their owners), on areas of Brancaster Beach and many others.
Also, at the top of the hill behind Brancaster Staithe is Barrow Common, again a great place for dog walking and offering mesmerising views of our beautiful stretch of Britain’s coastline.
The Ship offers 9 Dog Friendly rooms, North and South Creake, Titchwell, Holkham, Thornham, Brancaster, Starboard, Port & Captain’s Cabin. Our Classic rooms can accommodate 2 dogs and our Deluxe rooms & Suites up to 3 dogs.
We make a daily charge of £10 per dog, but ‘dogs welcome’ is much more than just lipservice. Every canine guest gets their own clean and comfy bed in your room, with a towel and treats to welcome them to the hotel.
We also offer some dog-friendly tables in the bar area of the restaurant, as well as a delightful large patio area where you and your dog can enjoy food al fresco if the weather holds.
Best of all, when you come downstairs for your full, traditional Norfolk breakfast, we never forget the dogs, who will enjoy a fresh sausage cooked just for them!
