We are set in the heart of the Norfolk coastal village of Brancaster,
The Ship Hotel is a 9 Bedroom Boutique Hotel with Restaurant & Bar offering excellent dining & unforgettable stays.

JOB TITLE: Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef

LOCATION: Ship Hotel Brancaster

REPORTING TO: Head Chef / General Manager

HOURS OF WORK: 48 per week

ACCOMMODATION: Accommodation can be provided for this position

To be capable of running a specified section to the required high standards of cuisine and hygiene.


Day to day running of the section

Preparation and ordering of required food stuffs for the appropriate section.

Ensure that food is prepared and stored in accordance with food safety laws and regulations.

To maintain cleanliness of required sections at all times.

To ensure dem chefs, commis and apprentices are adequately trained on the appropriate section and informed of any relevant changes.

To act as a senior member of the brigade at all times.

To carry out any other reasonable requests


Experience in similar role is essential (Kitchen Management). The perfect candidate must be willing to learn, have the right attitude, be flexible and have a passion for food and high quality service.
