Brand new for 2023, we are delighted to introduce Experience at The Ship to add a little more excitement to a stay at our boutique hotel, and we have invested in electric bikes to help you explore the beauty of our part of England. And if you’re feeling a little more adventurous, then use one of our paddleboards to explore the tidal waters behind Scolt Head Island and the creeks and marshes of Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Overy Staithe.

Paddle Boards
The popularity of stand up paddleboarding has exploded in recent years, and we are delighted to offer our guests paddleboards to get out on the water. Complete with buoyancy aids and waterproof phone pouches, our paddleboards come fully equipped for some paddling action. If you are a complete beginner, you can get an introductory lesson from our local watersport training partners, just tell them we sent you for a special price.
Electric Bikes
Cycling round the leafy lanes exploring North Norfolk is a lot easier on one of our electric bikes!
Complete with cycle helmets, borrow an electric bike from us and increase the range you can explore without having to get back in your car. Let the fresh air build your appetite for a hearty supper and glass (or more) of our carefully blended Black Diamond Gin!
